History of the Impeachment clauses
Malcolm Gross, Esq. – Partner in Gross McGinley – Allentown,
will review the history of the Impeachment clauses in the U.S. Constitution and the background for the first attempt to remove a president by virtue of those clauses. He will review and explain the dramatic moments in the United States Senate as the country came close to the major crises between the president and congress. He will also shed some light on the fascinating personalities of the post-Civil War political figures who played vital roles on both sides of the impeachment question.
