Nestled in the Borough of Macungie, Kalmbach Memorial Park is a private park opened to the public to enjoy from sunrise to sunset. In addition, many interesting educational programs and events take place throughout the year on our charming grounds or in the restored circa 1850′s barn.

Education
We have bees! Kalmbach is raising bees naturally using a horizontal hive/Layens Hive model and a traditional vertical hive. Please come talk to us about what we are doing and the benefits for the park and community.
We have planted a Mother Plot of American Chestnut Trees at Kalmbach. Please come by to see how they are doing and learn more about how you can help save the American Chestnut Trees.

Pat Slavek

Message from the Artist
Pat Slavek is a PA native and graduate of Boyertown High School. She has lived in the Lehigh Valley since 2019.
She has studied with many local and nationally known artists. As an art student she attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine in Phila. Pat Slavek finds the medium of watercolors, both challenging and interesting. Her greatest love is painting. She appreciates the surprises that can occur when working with the medium. Pat is constantly striving to upend the bounderies of traditional watercolor art. She has even added ink to some of her paintings. She is a member of the Perkiomen Valley Art Center, The Lehigh Art Alliance, a nd the Parkland Arts League. She has also been the director of art workshops and owned her own Gallery in Telford, PA. She now has artwork on display at Kalmbach Park and the Art and Craft Gallery of Hamburg and Kospia Farms. All paintings are for sale. Please come out to support Pat and her work. Her paintings will be on display at Kalmbach until the end of April.
