January seems to be a time when people are buzzing with talk of starting over…making changes…resolutions…

I know the celebration of the New Year’s kick-starts our mind into thinking these thoughts, but why do these thoughts of change pigeon -hole us into the time of the start of the New Year.  Why can’t we incorporate starting fresh every day when we walk out the door?

Nature does not abide by these rules.  Nature seems to have a monopoly on the “Market of Renaissance”.  There is not a day that goes by walking in nature that new and wondrous items appear.  Yes, you are probably thinking that winter is the time that nature rests, but I beg to differ.

Along the path one can see green grass appearing under protective pines, mushrooms popping into view, perennials taking on new features as they recharge their batteries anticipating another spring.  Deciduous trees taking on a skeletal look while small buds are appearing to announce their leaves. Evergreens dropping their needles for all walkers to have a golden stroll. Nature is ever-changing, bringing beauty to others.  New Year’s is no longer my calendar start of change… I will follow nature’s unrestricted calendar… making every day a chance to be better, to see the beauty and changes around me.

See You Along the Path…
